Welcome to the Safety Zone, Phoenix Safety's monthly newsletter
Even a single death is one too many

We all have a right to a safe and healthy workplace which we can leave alive and well at the end of the day.  Far too often people go home via the hospital, doctor’s surgery, or tragically, not at all.  The 10 people who died this year due to work related accidents, each had the right to a safe and healthy workplace.

Is it time to push the panic button?
The world  reached a grim milestone last month, with the confirmation of over 100 deaths from H5N1 bird flu.  The numbers seem likely to keep rising, with almost daily news of the virus reaching new areas.  How much longer can it be before it reaches our doorstep? Are you informed?
