Welcome to the Safety Zone, Phoenix Safety's monthly newsletter

Quad Biking

This month, we safety test …. Quad biking!!  Quad and off road biking can be great fun, but quad bikes are powerful machines and must be handled with proper care. So to get the maximum pleasure there are some things to remember.

Building the 2012 Games

The London 2012 Olympic Games provides an exciting opportunity for many businesses – both UK and overseas.  With the opportunity for 250 major contracts and 2000 smaller contracts, the spend is estimated at £9 billion.  As many construction companies start projects in the UK, the H.S.E has issued guidance and advice to employers on the Health and Safety requirements they must adhere to. We’ve summarised the guidance for you here.

New General Manager for Phoenix Safety

We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome our new General Manager, John Hudson. John has spent the last 20 years in senior management roles at a number of companies both in the UK and Ireland. His extensive business experience will further strengthen the team at Phoenix Safety.
