This is quite a broad question! Mandatory safety training should include Employee Induction, Manual Handling, Machinery & Equipment safety, Basic Food Hygiene & Fire Awareness training (including use of fire extinguishers and emergency evacuation).
The 2005 Act states that employees must be provided with information and training for the specific tasks they carry out. Your company’s risk assessments will identify any such specific training requirements for the different groups of employees working with you and may include chemical safety, specific equipment (knives) or machinery training etc.
