A White Christmas? It’s a Personal Choice

While most of us dream of a white Christmas, for some people their longing for the white stuff doesn’t involve the weather.  The decision they make is whether to take cocaine or not.  According to recent media reports, the drug, which was previously seen as a ‘rich and elite’ drug, is now widely available throughout the country in every city, town and village.

Have a Stress Free Christmas!
For many people, Christmas means stress.  It involves battling it out in the shops to max the credit card, entertaining friends and relatives, getting stuck in traffic, and of course acting out the excitement of receiving another pair of socks!

Q&A section with Paul Tierney

Dear Sir/Madam,

We recently had an ergonomic survey carried out for the offices on site.

What one person deems as fit for use another deems as uncomfortable, bringing me to the conclusion that ergonomics’ are totally individual-specific i.e. if one person is taller than another then the former will have to stretch that bit more than the shorter person at a desk of the same size.

I am fully aware that personnel can adjust seating, but the desk does seem shorter for the taller person but I’m told it’s within the ‘ergonomic threshold limit’ as per General Applications Regulations just updated.

I want to resolve this matter and keep all parties on site happy, can you please advise?

Kind rgds, Anthony

Hi Paul,

I work in an office and the temperature is normally set to 26 degrees on the Air Conditioning. This is very uncomfortable to work in. Is this covered by legislation or is there a maximum temperature?

Thanks,
Adrian
