€1.5 million bid to fight farm accidents

The Health and Safety Authority has recently launched the largest and most comprehensive farm safety public awareness campaign ever mounted in this country. This campaign has been driven by the fact that Ireland has over twice the incidence of farm accidents as other European countries.

Paws for thought…

Who can resist those big brown puppy dog eyes gazing up at you like you’re the best thing in the world? But there’s a lot more to getting that pooch for you and your family than the hugs and the cuddles, as any experienced and responsible dog owner will confirm.

Q&A section with Paul Tierney

We are now required to wear hard hats at work.  I am responsible for purchasing these for our company.  Are there any standards I need to be aware of?
Thanks in advance,
Francis

We are moving to a new premises which has an in-house cold store facility (temp. of -21c).  Is there a regulation with regard to working conditions in such a facility?
Regards,
Peter
