New Years Resolutions

Happy New Year from all in Phoenix Safety! Every New Year we make resolutions. It feels like we’re getting a new start in life. Now is a time full of hope and anticipation at what lies ahead. However year after year, the same thing happens. Within a few weeks, it's all gone - the enthusiasm and the hope. Once again, the New Year resolution has fizzled out.

Quash Workplace Stress
It is estimated that as many as one in five people are suffering from high levels of work related stress. It is second only to back pain as the most common work-related health problem. Stress can cause misery both at work and at home for the individuals affected, and can also affect the work environment.

Q&A section with Paul Tierney

To Whom It May Concern:

We had an issue recently in our company where a first aider gave another employee headache tablets, is this acceptable? I was under the impression that no drugs may be given to another employee. This employees certificate is out of date since June 07, can you also advice of retraining.

Thanks
John, Kildare

Hi there,

Recently, I have been experiencing aches & pains while I am using the PC at work. Once I finish work in the evening, the pain is eased. I don’t think that my workstation is set up properly, is there anything I can ask my employer to do?

Sarah, Westport
