A 15-year-old male tied together the wires of 10 sparklers.  The sparklers ignited quickly and burned down very fast, finally exploding in his hand.  The victim sustained a five-inch long laceration to his hand and forearm which exposed muscle.  In order to prevent incidents like this…

Health & Safety at Work Exhibition 2006

This week Phoenix Safety attended the Safety, Health at Work Exhibition in the RDS. Our EazySafe products proved very popular in particular the Instructor Presentations and printed safety products such as posters and safety cards.

There was significant interest our Employee and Contractor Induction computer-based training courses. These courses are fully customisable and are available in up to 20 languages

Public Courses
We now have Public Courses running in both Dublin and in our training rooms in Little Island in Cork. Below are some of our upcoming courses in November:
  • 1 day VDU Assessors Training in Cork on November 13th
  • 3 day Occupational First Aid Training in Cork starting November 14th
  • 5 day Manual Handling Instructor course in Dublin starting November 21st
  • 5 day Manual Handling Instructor course in Cork starting November 27th
