Answer to Question 2:

A small number (1 in 10,000) of VDU users have reported facial skin complaints; from occasional itching or reddened skin on the face and/or neck, to more substantial symptoms in very few cases.  These complaints are rare and the limited evidence available suggests they may be associated with environmental factors, such as low relative humidity or static electricity near the VDU.  Reducing the electrostatic charge in the workplace and increasing the humidity may help.  I recommend that you advise her to attend the company doctor and in the meantime investigate the humidity levels in her work area.
