Dangerous Dogs |
 |
It’s
not something that we usually consider when we apply for a
new job, but there are many people in jobs across the
country who may have to deal with dogs, some of whom may
be aggressive, as part of their daily duties. It is an
Occupational Hazard for many people, and is therefore, a
Health and Safety concern...

Lightning Can Strike Twice! |
|
According to the UK Met Office, there are some 2,000
thunderstorms globally at any one time, producing about
100 lightning strikes to Earth per second. Lightning very
rarely makes front page news, yet, each year, around the
world an estimated 100,000 people are injured and 10,000
people are killed by lightning — more than are killed by
floods, hurricanes or tornadoes...

Q&A section with Paul Tierney
|
|
 |
Hi Paul,
Could you comment on personal protective equipment to
comply with legislation/good practice for ride on lawn
mowers?
Regards,
Mary

|
|
Hi Paul,
Where a two-storey scaffolding is being used to put on an
extension at a side entrance, and the scaffold is no more
that four feet from the neighbouring house side entrance
would you recommend that Debri-Netting be used to protect
the neighbouring house side entrance?
Regards,
Michael
